The Art of Stephanie Lyn Welcomes You
Illustrator. Sculptor. Storyteller.
Bio and Artist Statement
I am an artist based in Connecticut who is trying to find their way and place in the art world. My work depicts figural narrative storytellings of various trials and tribulations I have experienced throughout my life.I unpack and examine these experiences through whimsical and fantastical lenses that are rich in color and detail. All of my pieces serve as a conduit to beginning to understand my subconscious in relation to God. Choosing to paint in oils gives me the chance to incorporate as much of my inner thoughts through intricate detail and symbolism as I can in order to have the concepts of my work he as impactful for my audience as well as myself. My process is something that is always evolving, being shaped and moulded in order to adapt and overcome obstacles I may come across. I want everyone to see a bit of themselves in my work and connect it to their own life experiences while deriving personal meaning to take along with them on their own individual journeys through life.
